Local Mission
In addition to the La Escuelita San Marcos bilingual preschool and Scouts, we support the following local organizations:

Angels and SparrowsThey start with a nourishing meal, served with dignity, and foster community and a path to hope for those facing hunger in their daily lives through our programs, celebrations and experiences – transforming daily interactions into personal connections and a sense of belonging.
Here is the list of items that we include in Holiday Meal Boxes for our families. We typically distribute the boxes the week before the actual holiday.
- Stuffing (boxed)
- Canned Vegetables (green beans, corn)
- Canned Yams
- Potatoes (dehydrated in a box)
- Biscuit or cornbread mix
- Cranberry Sauce (can)
- Gravy (packet)
- Dessert (cake mix, shelf stable pie crust, pie filling, etc.)
- Canned Pineapple slices
- Macaroni & Cheese
- $10 Gift Card for other groceries (butter, spices, etc.)
Many people decorate their boxes for the holiday and also include something fun, like a holiday candle, dish towel, etc.
