The Chancel Choir and the Chancel Ringers Handbell Choir are an important part of the Worship experience at Hopewell. We hope that many of you will find your way into one of these choirs. Music ministry is a vital part of any church program, and it is our goal to help us grow musically, emotionally, and spiritually through music. We believe that worship is one of the most important encounters we engage in each week. We need to worship together; we need to offer our praise and thanksgivings to our God; we need to draw near to God. It is our prayer that these things can and do happen for all of us each time we gather to worship at Hopewell. We look forward to what we can accomplish together in the Music Ministry here at Hopewell!
Chancel Choir
Hopewell’s Chancel Choir offers a broad choral experience and the opportunity to serve weekly in the Worship Services. This Choir participates in a variety of special Advent and Christmas Services, along with being in Lenten and Easter Services. Weekly rehearsals are held on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. in the Choir Room (A-8) of the Administrative Building. Regular rehearsal attendance is encouraged and important.
Handbell Choir
The Hopewell Chancel Ringers Handbell Choir is for experienced adult ringers. The Bell Choir participates in Worship on a regular basis, including special Advent/Christmas Services and Lenten/Easter Services. Weekly rehearsals are held from September-May on Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. in the Choir Room (A-8) of the Administrative Building. Regular rehearsal attendance is required.

These groups present a varied repertoire of church music. Opportunities are available for additional vocal and instrumental soloists and ensembles that enrich our worship services for the glory of God.
Auditions are not required for these opportunities for participation in Hopewell’s Music Program. So if you want to make that “joyful noise unto the Lord”, let us know about your talent and interests by contacting the church office at Hopewell.
